The open-air heart of the Dallas Farmers Market. Over 100 local producers set up every Saturday and Sunday under the big canopy at 920 S. Harwood — farmers from as far as 400 miles away, ranchers raising heritage breeds, bakers who started before sunrise, and makers who keep old craft traditions alive. It's been going since 1941, and it still runs rain or shine.

Every Saturday & Sunday

What you'll find.

The Shed brings together producers from across Texas and the region. Every table is a direct connection between the person who grew or made it and the person who'll take it home.

Fresh Produce

Seasonal fruits and vegetables harvested days — sometimes hours — before market.

Herbs & Seedlings

Culinary and medicinal herbs, vegetable starts, and native Texas plants.

Honey & Preserves

Local raw honey, fruit preserves, pickles, and fermented goods from Texas producers.

Eggs & Dairy

Pasture-raised eggs, farmstead cheeses, and fresh dairy from regional farms.

Bread & Pastries

Naturally leavened loaves, seasonal tarts, and baked goods made from scratch before sunrise.

Pasture-Raised Meats

Heritage beef, pork, lamb, and poultry from ranchers who raise their animals on pasture.

Cut Flowers

Seasonal blooms from local flower farmers — peak selection arrives early Saturday.

Handmade & Craft

Pottery, textiles, woodwork, and artisan goods made by the hands you shake at the table.

Food Access

SNAP, EBT & Double Dollars.

We accept SNAP/EBT benefits at The Shed. Through our Double Your Dollars program, SNAP recipients receive matching tokens — spend $10 in SNAP benefits and receive $10 in market tokens to spend on produce and food items. Fresh food should be accessible to everyone in Dallas.
