SNAP & EBT.
Your benefits go further at The Shed. Over 100 local producers accept SNAP and EBT on all eligible items, every Saturday and Sunday.
The Dallas Farmers Market is proud to welcome SNAP/EBT benefits on all applicable items in The Shed. With over 100 small businesses to shop, your benefits go further at the Dallas Farmers Market — from local fruits and vegetables to pasture-raised meats, fresh dairy, honey, and baked goods made right here in Texas.
Step by Step
How to shop with your benefits.
-
Find the Information Booth
Look for the orange Information Booth at the front of The Shed when you arrive. Staff there will get you set up.
-
Look for the SNAP sign
Participating vendors display a "We welcome SNAP/EBT" sign at their booth. Any vendor with that sign can sell eligible items with your benefits.
-
Get a shopping list
Ask the Information Booth staff for an EBT/SNAP shopping list. This is the form you'll use to record your selections.
-
Shop and fill it out
Browse the market. For each eligible item you want, write down the booth name, the item, and the price on your shopping list.
-
Return to check out
Bring your completed list back to the Information Booth to check out with your EBT card. The staff will process the total.
-
Pick up your items
Return to each vendor booth to collect the items you purchased. They'll be held for you while you check out.
